JOB OVERVIEW

The Finance Executive plays a critical role in our organization, supporting the finance department’s operations, ranging from accounting and reporting to budgeting and financial analysis. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in numerical accuracy and financial management. 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Financial Reporting and Accounting:

  • Assist in preparing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including ledger maintenance, receivables, payables, and payroll.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Support the budgeting process, collecting inputs from various departments and monitoring budget variances.
  • Participate in financial forecasting efforts, contributing to short-term and long-term financial planning.

Financial Analysis and Support:

  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and potential areas of improvement.
  • Provide analytical support for special projects, including financial modeling and investment analysis.

Compliance and Controls:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal financial controls and procedures.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and reports.
  • Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional accounting qualification is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in a finance or accounting role, with a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to adapt to a dynamic work setting.
  • Knowledge of local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
